The purpose of this event is to provide full Thanksgiving courses, non-perishable to go boxes, winter clothing, haircuts, health screenings, employment opportunities, and other free services to the Monroe Park community. Last year we feed over 400 men, women, and children. This year we are preparing for a lot more as we also open up to a few new organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, Community in Schools of Richmond, and a few others to extend our services to the community.

This year we have request from a few new sponsors but still plan to work with the same businesses, organizations, and non-profit groups from last the last four years including;
T. Francis Collection, Sam’s Club, Walmart, WTVR CBS 6, Hot 100.9 & 103.7 The River, The Main Studio, BMC, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A, Old Navy, Macys and more.

Our official drop off location for winter clothing and canned goods this year will be Gold’s Gym. We will have large ‘RVA Feed the City’ bins in all Richmond locations and will accept donations four weeks in advance. Any clean, gently used clothing (men, women, and children) will be accepted; Heavy jackets, scarves, hats, gloves, boots, shirts, jeans, thermals, etc.
